About me

This is the personal site of Juan M. Méndez Rey. Traveller, software engineer, lover of absurd humour, spiritual seeker, son, brother, partner, NetHack player…

An endless list of titles that only says: I am.

What I do

I package software for Debian, mostly in Go and JavaScript. I also recover old programs that nobody maintains any more and get them running again: 1993 editors, Unix games, systems that only ever lived on tape.

I founded UniversidadQuantum.es, an educational project with courses in Spanish.

What follows here is whatever I happen to care about.
