Hello everyone:
My main interests in the world of Computing are the
machines and their Operating Systems, the compilers and
programming languages. Since there is currently little diversity of
Operating Systems and hardware, I am quite interested in going back in time
and learning about other machines. Some of them can still be
accessed, but others cannot. Moreover, some of these machines no
longer exist, so the only way to study them is under emulation.
Here I will be talking about different Operating Systems, some history,
some hardware, etc.. On some occasions I will tell you how to install
a given Operating System under an emulator so we can get
an idea of what it was like. I will also refer to the different
emulators that exist and to the many OSes that there are or have been and that
are of interest.
