This autumn term, Stanford’s Artificial Intelligence class http://www.ai-class.com/ is available to the students who have enrolled from all over the world, who will be able to follow the videos of the classes, will do the same exercises and will have the opportunity to put their questions to the professors, although not all of them will be answered, only the most common ones.
The course is free to access and is taught online to any student in the world. The course will run from 10 October to 18 December 2011. The course will provide the results and a certificate of achievement. It is taught by professors Sebastian Thrun and Peter Norvig.
On the other hand, the Introduction to Databases classes http://www.db-class.org/ taught by Professor Jennifer Widom also begin, and the classes of http://www.ml-class.org/ taught by Andrew Ng, the director of the Stanford Artificial Intelligence laboratory.
An effort is being made to translate the contents of the videos and the materials into other languages.
If you are interested in these subjects, you can still jump on the bandwagon.
