OpenData Meeting in Sevilla

The Sugus/GNU Linux Association is organising the OpenData Meeting of Sevilla. This meeting takes place on Friday 18 November 2011 in the Red Building of the Reina Mercedes Campus of the University of Sevilla.

The main goals of the OpenData Sevilla Meeting are to promote the principles of opening up data, its motivations, foundations and objectives, within the university community, among professionals in the sector and members of public institutions. And on the other hand, to lay the foundations for forming a community around this movement, promoting the creation of working teams to carry out projects and initiatives around Opendata.

To talk about the Opendata movement, legal aspects, existing initiatives, data in public administrations, data and its different formats, tools available for processing data, etc. a schedule of talks has been organised in which we can find speakers such as Javier de la Cueva, Alberto Abella or David Cabo among others

We encourage you to look at the schedule of talks of the OpenData Sevilla Meeting and to come.

Thanks to Paul Brown for the heads-up.
